Title

The first time somebody tried to kill him was an accident.

The second time was deliberate.

Now Paul Mulchrone finds himself on the run with nobody to turn to except a nurse who has read one-too-many crime novels and a renegade copper with a penchant for violence. Together they must solve one of the most notorious crimes in Irish history . . .

. . . or else they’ll be history.

A Man With One of Those Faces is the first book in Caimh McDonnell's Dublin Trilogy, which melds fast-paced action with a distinctly Irish acerbic wit.

How many books does it take to make a trilogy?

Caimh McDonnell's "A Man With One of Those Faces" is delightful with its character, Bunny McGarry, that solves crimes in the most interesting way. McDonnell's distinctly Irish wit and ability to create genuinely funny moments without sacrificing the mystery elements. The cast of characters is wonderfully quirky and memorable. Police sergeant Bunny McGarry is a potentially annoying character that becomes so likeable under McDonnell's skillful writing. Readers will love the details of the Dublin setting, which adds authentic charm to the story, with local humor and atmosphere that feels both genuine and accessible to international readers. This impossible to put down crime comedy causes readers to want to travel to Dublin. The book has you smiling throughout while keeping you guessing until the end. Readers will want to immediately acquire the second in the series, making sure to count the number of books that makes up the humorous trilogy! “A Man With One of Those Faces" is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys their mysteries with a generous helping of humor and heart.

Dublin Trilogy 1

Loved the writing style and fast pace of the story line. Just thought that the end game petered out toward the end, however, guessing that the second part of the Trilogy might pick up on this?

Loved it so much, wanted everyone to read it, so I bought a copy for my mate. Will buy more for others and I’m sure they will be hooked just like me. 👍

Loved the story and humour

Have read all the books, bought this for my 21 year old grandson. He often says " what can I read Gran?" I recommend or buy him books I think he'll like. Got him this , know he'll like it and then I'll get him the rest in the series
