Huge fan of The Stanger Times series

Being a huge fan of The Stanger Times series, I have already listened to most of the stories on the podcast but listening to the wonderful Brendan McDonald read them gives them a new life!

A brilliant collection of stories from CK McDonnell's Stranger Times world

A brilliant collection of stories from CK McDonnell's Stranger Times world, read by Brendan McDonald, who voices all the Stranger Times audio books. This is a full length book, a deliciously meaty, generous portion served up as an 11 hour feast for the mind and the ears. Many of them are cautionary tales where the wrong 'uns find themselves served with a satisfying course of just desserts. They're all told with CK / Caimh McDonnell's trade mark humour, deft touch for dialogue, clever plotting and endless imagination. Brendan McDonald's narration and the Stranger Times stories are like eggs and ham, or cookies and cream, a heaven blessed marriage for the senses that only increases your appetite for more. He seems to be enjoying reading the stories as much as the listener is, and his ability to give distinct voices to the characters is endlessly joyful. All in all, a sumptuous repast in audiobook form, and I can't wait for the next instalment of the Stranger Times, which is due out later this year.
